Products I'm Trying Out

By: Michelle

These past two weeks, I have been testing out some new products. I find trying new products can be a lot of fun, especially if there was a lot of positive reviews on them. So, I thought I should share with you these products and my thoughts of them so far.

♥ Clio's Ultra High Sunblock:
I stopped using sunscreen for quite some time, but after watching a video on youtube about sun rays, I realised I should add it back to my routine. Clio's Ultra High Sunblock provides high protection from the sun, containing SPF 50+ PA+++. The packaging is very simple and lightweight. This allows me to carry it in my bag. It also has a very nice smell, but it can get overwhelming at times. Nevertheless, I have been loving this product.

♥ Innisfree's Apple Juicy Deep Cleansing Foam:
I was really excited about opening this product because it smells amazing. And thankfully it didn't disappoint. This cleanser has replaced my everyday morning cleanser. I am loving it! It makes my skin feel soft and ready to go each morning.

♥ Skinfood's Egg White Pore Mask:
This is a a mask which helps eliminates the pores. I'm not too sure if it has immensely helped my pores, but it does makes my skin feel really nice.

♥ Etude House's Goodbye Pore Ever:
After going through my make-up collection, I found this product. Don't you just love finding forgotten products? This is a primer which aims to fill in the pores. I have quite a few pores on my nose so it's a good product for me.

♥ Etude House's I'm Blooming Sebum Control Mist:
I own quite a few unopened face mists, and I thought it was time to open one more bottle. A face mist or make-up fixer is a must for keeping make-up looking fresh and long-lasting. This specific mist fights off sebum, which is the element that creates the oil on our skin.

♥ Nivea's Refreshing Facial Cleansing Wipes (Normal & Combination Skin):
This was on sale for half price and it was great timing because I needed new cleansing wipes. This is the first time I've used wipes from Nivea. I only use the wipes when I don't have any eye make-up on.

♥ Original Source's Lime Shower Gel:
All I have to say about this is that it smells, hands down, amazing.

. . . . . . . .

That's all of the products I've recently opened. I must say I am enjoying all of them. If you want me to do a full review on any of these products, let me know.

Much love,
Michelle.

Lip Crayon Collection

By: Michelle

I find that lip crayons are one of the easiest lip products to use on a daily basis. My collection of lip crayons isn't that big. However, I thought I would share with you the lip crayons that I do have in my collection right now.

♥ Face of Australia: Glossy Lip Crayon
Shades: Berry Juice, Apple Crumble, Raspberry Coulis.
Definitely recommend these if you live in Australia. It’s a great product for a very decent price. My favourite shade out of the three would have to be Raspberry Coulis.

♥ Innisfree: Juicy Gloss Pencil
Shades: #4
This gloss pencil is the on the go product for me due to it’s moisturizing formula. Additionally, it has a fruity scent, somewhat similar to an orange.

♥ Revlon: Just Bitten Kissable
Shades: Romanic & Charm
Revlon is well known for their lip crayon lines. This specific line has a minty fragrance, which I quite like. Charm is Diemmy’s favourite from this collection. However I’m actually not that fond of it. I had another shade from this line that I lost, which I absolutely adored.

 . . . . . . .
I love most of these lip crayons and I definitely want to invest in more! What are your favourite lip crayons?

Much love,
Michelle.

MICHELLE'S WISH LIST #1

Hello, hello everyone!
I decided to take a break from my assessments and make a post on my current wish list. I love beauty products and my list is never ending. However, these four products have recently caught my eye and I want it so much!

1. ARITAUM: HONEY MELTING TINT
Product Description:
- Honey melting formula melting on top of lips.
- Collagen content give no smudging clean lip line.
- Natural flower extract giving vital healthy looking lips with protection.
I love lip products and my have a slight obsession with them. I have tried Aritaum's World Glam Coating Tint and I really like it so I want to try other products from Aritaum. Aritaum released a new set of tints not too long ago called the Honey Melting Tint. I've looked at some swatches of these tints and... the finish looks so glossy and creamy! I'll definitely get my hand on these... one day.

2. INNISFREE: MINERAL MELTING BB CUSHION
Product Desecription:
- Pat lightly with a puff to create mo isturized, illuminating and smooth skin.
- Jeju green tea water controls oil and moisture balance to create refreshing skin without stickiness.
- Cover holding system remains adhesive cover for hours.
- Creates bright skin for hours without darkening.
- SPF 50+, PA+++ protects skin to be healthy against UV rays.

I have not tried any BB Cushions yet (I have one, but still haven't opened it) but I have heard the Innisfree BB cushions are really good. This particular mineral Melting BB Cushion by Innisfree has been popping up a lot lately on Youtube and on blogs. As a result... it is something I want to try out in the future.

3. INNISFREE: SKINNY WATERPROOF MICROCARA
Product Desecription:
- Trip coating film offers coating to lashes to remain clean lashes for hours.
- Brush of 2.5mm in diameter reaches to the areas where you can't easily to create vivid look.
- Black Polymer System that won't get lump when re-applying.

I have awfully short straight lashes (Sadly I don't have god-gifted eyelashes that are long and curled like Diemz - she doesn't even need to use the eyelash curler!). So it is quite hard for me to find the perfect mascara that keeps the curl and gives me length. This mascara has a very, very, thin brush, hence the name Microcara. Because the wand it so small, you can apply the a mascara to areas such as the inner eyelashes where it tends to be shorter - which is a problem that I have. Additionally, it gives a natural finish which would be good for a every-day mascara.

4. BANILA CO.: PRIME PRIMER CLASSIC MATTE

Product Description:
It makes natural and silky skin texture from skin with pores and wrinkles and maintain freshness makeup condition.

If you didn't know, a primer can make such a huge difference to your make-up. I have oily-combination skin and I tend to get really oily on my t-zone... so my makeup doesn't last that long. HOWEVER with primer it lasts for suchhhh a long time. I have heard good reviews about Banila Co's Prime Primer Classic Matte. This is something I'm definitely planning to invest, maybe once I use up my current primer (The Faceshop's Velvet Skin Primer

. . . . . . . .

And that is it!
I hope you like this post - especially the collage at the beginning of the post because I'm really proud of the results. If you like these kind of posts, let me know down on the comments below. I am planning to do these once in a while - and will force Diemz to do these too.

If you have any beauty recommendations - let me know too.

We will gradually update this blog more - we have been really busy with University, however the semester is finishing sooooooon. So... you should definitely anticipate for more awesome blog posts. ^^

Okay, I shall now go back to my studies...

Much love,
Michelle.
