The Good Life: Turning 19

Hi there, Diemmy here! Excuse me for this highly sentimental and cliché post that I am about to write but I thought it would be a nice gesture to have an obligatory post about turning 19. So here goes… Nothing.

I must admit, I have been blessed with the good life for the past 19 years. Looking back, yes I have experienced the ups and downs but then again, things could have been worst. They say adding another number to your age makes you wiser and in a sense, I guess that is true. Over the past 19 years, I have been able to learn so much and as a matter of fact, I am continuing to discover and grow as a human being.

Sometimes I feel as if things in life are a pit hole, but then I take a moment to look back at all the things that I am grateful of – my family, my friends, and my achievements. I may not have made it to my optimal destination in life but I am still going and that’s okay.

My main lesson in life is that sometimes life can be a mess but that is only temporary. As cliché as it sounds, you have the ability to change that and take control of how you want things to be.

This is just the beginning of an Amazing Life (quote Michelle). Just remember, adding a number to your age doesn’t change anything. We will always be young and free. I am young. I am free. And no matter what happens in life – keep going!

A message for everyone out there: When things get dull, just breathe and if all else fails – just remember to Shake it Off.

Much love,
Diemmy

Memories in Korea

By Diemmy

So it's safe to say... I MISS KOREA and I'm pretty sure Michelle feels the same way too. Recently, I took out a bag of photos to discover that it was the polaroids that we had taken during our trip to Korea. We may or may have not went crazy with polaroid taking in Korea but we thought "Why not?" since we were going overseas and making memories... (sorry about all the cheesiness).

Looking over the polaroids really brought back all the memories that we had in Korea and it's save to say that WE LEFT OUR HEARTS IN KOREA. So I just thought it would be nice to share some of the polaroids that we took during our trip with you guys!

Costco Adventure

Just a few random shots of our day on the 2nd of October. We spent the day with two of our lovely friends, Lilian and Caroline. Lilian wanted to buy a polaroid camera, so we headed off to Costco in the afternoon. The weather was so nice where the drive felt like a mini-road trip... despite it being a 15 minute car ride. Diemmy recently purchased a camera, the Sony Alpha 5000, so we decided to whip out the new gem and test it out. It's the first time we vlogged on the new camera and it's such a huge difference from our phones. The quality is amazing, which you can see from the pictures down below. We'll upload a vlog soon, most likely the beginning of next week so watch out for that!

Jumpin' to 19

I, Michelle, turned 19 last week on the 24th of July. To commemorate that day, I invited my travelling buddies to go out. We had Yum Cha for breakfast then headed to Flip Out. Flip Out is a place filled with trampolines. So basically, for one hour, we jumped on trampolines. It was a lot of fun, yet very tiring at the same time. Afterwards, we went home, ate pizza, snacked on junk food, and watched 'Mean Girls'. It was a very simple day filled with laughter, which was all that I wanted.

19 Things

Hi everyone! Michelle here. Thursday marked the day where I turned 19 years old. I had a lovely day with my friends and family, which I will be writing a post about. However, this post will be about 19 random things I have learned, believe in or advice I gave myself within the past 19 years.

♥ Always keep the faith, never forget what you believe in.
♥ Save your money for things I actually need.
♥ South Korea was even better than I expected it to be.
♥ Do the things you love, even if you have to put yourself out there.
♥ Be supportive.
♥ 11:11, make a wish.
♥ People change. We all do.
♥ It may suck at random moments but you can change that. Turn on some music, watch a TV show or talk to a friend. You can be doing things that make you happy right at that very second.
♥ Time goes really fast.
♥ Friendship: Quality over quantity.
♥ Make-up is so much fun.
♥ Diemmy and I will open a café one day.
♥ Hard work pays off.
♥ Save up so you can travel!
♥ Try to see things in different points of views.
♥ I am very grateful for my family and friends.
♥ Donuts are the best.
♥ I love TVXQ and CNBLUE.
♥ One day I will own a personal library.

Well,
Happy Birthday to me!

Much love,
Michelle.

Lovely Lunch

Yesterday we had lunch with Sylvia and two of our lovely high school teachers at a cafe called "Ristretto & Co". We shared some salad, pasta, pizza, sandwich and hot chocolate.

Here are two snapshots taken by Sylvia. If you don't know who Sylvia is, she's one of our best friends. Sometimes she's considered as our 'manager' (as a joke), because she's the secret third member of MDNBLOG. Thank-you Sylvia for these photos.
